I was asked to create promotional pieces for a LUSH campaign titled “From Nature, with Love.” The goal was to engage individuals in embracing more sustainable lifestyles and conscious consumption. My research focused on understanding LUSH’s core beliefs and positioning: a brand that places people at the heart of its business, represents global communities, and actively promotes regeneration.

The proposal

The solution portrays Mother Nature, with flowers inspired by LUSH products blooming from her face, showcasing both the delicate and powerful aspects of LUSH’s products in an abstract and sensorial way. This approach aligns with the message by visually conveying that self-care and Earthcare are inherently connected, celebrating nature’s beauty while inspiring sustainable action.

The process

To reinforce the idea of Nature and love, everything is hand-painted, which creates textures that connect to the real world. It also anchors the second part of the title, “With Love”, since the technique demands thought and care. The color palette is contrasting, with a predominance of earthy tones, to represent the soil. A pop of some primary and secondary colors is the representation of nature’s flora and its vibrant tones.
