A series of botanical illustrations celebrating the quiet beauty of winter plants — bare branches, frost-kissed berries, and evergreen leaves.
Inspired by long walks through winter gardens, this series explores how nature finds ways to stay beautiful even in its most dormant season.
The process
Each plant was studied from life before being translated into illustration. The ink linework was done first, then color was added digitally to preserve the crispness of the lines while allowing for easy color adjustments.
