A dreamy illustration for a children’s book about a little fox who tries to catch the moon’s reflection in a pond.
This project was born from a personal desire to explore nighttime scenes and the magic that children see in everyday nature.
The process
This piece started as a rough sketch exploring the relationship between a curious fox and the night sky. After several iterations, I settled on a watercolor technique that captures the softness of moonlight.
